Bob (also Robert and Bobby) is a very frequent occuring name in the Penny Arcade comics. He usually appears as the generic character when a name is needed.

• "Fun With Fish": Bob is a fisherman who has just caught a mighty good fish.
• "Cup O' Sunshine": Bob turned obese and was an employee at a store. He told Johnathan Gabriel to shove his Interact light guns up his own arse.
• "The Longest Line": Bob was in the queue, but was forced to run away after Tycho Brahe said he was a violent video game player.
• "Around the World: 15 Mins": Bob Napster was doing an interview. He then tricked the reporters and ran away, taking a taxi, then a plane and then crossing the pole.
• "Bob, We Hardly Knew Ye": Bob was killed by Microsoft when they took over Bungie.
• "But That's The Best Part!": Bob works at Gabe's bank. He informed him that they were terribly short on bags.
• ""Red & Blue" in... The Party": Bob was the Blue team's flag carrier. He acquired the Red team's flag, and then had to go to the Red team's house for a party with his wife.
• "Blade's Blind Date": Bob knows Blade and set him up with the date.
