Box: So here's what really happened when we played Bungie.
Tycho: Do we even own a copy of Halo 2? I guess we need to buy one.
Gabe: Let's just rent it. We'll only need it for the day.

{Gabe is smiling nervously. Box at top and bottom.}
Box: We did lose all three rounds, but there were extenuating circumstances. First round, that was just warmup. The entire second round, Gabe was in the bathroom.
Tycho: But you got three kills!
Gabe: Because I'm awesome.
Box: By the third round, I had already begun to think about crepes.

Box: We have to admit - they're damn good at Halo. Really good. It's as though they spent their development time practicing Slayer instead of making downloadable maps or writing a proper ending for their game.
