Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is a video game based on Penny Arcade. It is written by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, with Mike drawing the concept art. It is published by Hothead Games.
Announcement[]
On the very first day of Penny Arcade Expo 2006, it was announced to the crowd that they were constructing the Penny Arcade Adventures video game. It shall be episodic, and the price will not be too expensive.
Releases[]
Episode One was released on May 21, 2008 for Windows (download or Steam), Linux, Mac OSX, and Xbox Live. It was later also released on the PlayStation Network on October 23, 2008.
Episode Two was released on all above platforms on October 29, 2008.
Episode Three was releasesd on steam on June 25, 2012.
Episode Four was released on Steam on June 5, 2013.
Cancellation and Return[]
Originally four episodes were planned, but only episode one and two were released. On March 26, 2010 during PAX East it was announced that episode three would be "indefinitely postponed" and the story might eventually be concluded in comic form. The series was later picked up by Zeboyd Games, which developed and released episode three in 2012. A fourth episode is out now on Steam and Xbox Live.
